The Defense Ministry’s joint civilian-military investigation team that has been investigating the sinking of the Cheonan will reportedly conclude its activities at the end of this
month without releasing the comprehensive report over its findings. Their attitude, poised to address suspicions surrounding the sinking, is not convincing.

천안함 침몰 사건을 조사해온 국방부 민·군 합동조사단이 종합보고서조차 공개하지 않고 이달 말 활동을 마친다고 한다. 사건의 진실을 둘러싼 의문이 갈수록 커지는 흐름과는 동떨어진 처사로 납득하기 어렵다.
