During his “Dialogue With the President” session on the evening of September 9, President Lee Myung-bak said he would stabilize the real estate market through the use of public funds for reconstruction and redevelopment programs. He also made no secret of his intention to stimulate the economy with a greater housing supply. It would appear he thinks that supply-side stimulation will solve everything.
공급 만능주의’론 주택문제 더 악화된다
이명박 대통령이 그젯밤 ‘대통령과의 대화’에서 재건축·재개발 활성화 등 공급 확대를 통해 부동산 시장을 안정시키겠다고 밝혔다. 또, 주택 공급 확대로 경기를 부양하겠다는 의도도 숨기지 않았다. 공급을 늘리면 모든 문제를 풀 수 있다는 ‘공급 확대 만능주의’를 보는 듯하다.
