The conflict within the larger ruling camp between members of civil society and full-time politicians has been patched up for now. The Alliance for Creating a Future, which represents civil society, has withdrawn its demand that party posts be shared equally, accepting the assertion by the politicians that they have two party posts for every one occupied by members of the Alliance. The fight over equity in the new party is not over, however. It is highly likely there could be another outbreak of conflict because [the ruling camp] has postponed putting together the central standing committee, the highest decision making body within the party.
날림 신당으로는 희망 못 준다
당내 지분을 둘러싸고 시민사회 진영과 기존 정치권이 대립했던 여권 신당의 내부 갈등이 일단 봉합됐다. 시민사회 진영의 미래창조연대가 당직을 1 대 1로 양쪽에서 맡아야 한다는 기존 요구를 접고, 1 대 2로 나누자는 정치권의 주장을 수용한 결과다. 그러나 양쪽의 지분 다툼은 완전히 끝난 게 아니다. 당의 최고 의사결정 기구인 중앙상임위원회 구성을 창당 뒤로 미뤄놓은 상태여서 언제든 재발할 가능성이 높다.
