Jeju Election Commission announced that there will be a recall election of a provincial assembly member from the 29th electoral district(Pyoson myeon) on April 25. This reelection is held to replace Kim Gyeong-min who was elected to the Jeju provincial assembly in the local election last year. He is now fined 5 million won after being indicted for violation of election law. The registration for preliminary candidates will start on Feb. 11 and The Commission will receive registration for candidates from April 10 to 11.
표선면 도의원 재선거 4월25일 실시 확정
제주도선거관리위원회(위원장 정갑주)는 오는 4월 25일 제주도의원 제29선거구(표선면) 재선거를 실시한다고 6일 밝혔다. 이번 선거는 지난해 실시된 제4회 지방선거에서 도의원으로 당선됐던 김경민씨가 선거법위반으로 기소돼 벌금 500만원 형이 확정됨에 따라 이뤄지는 것이다. 표선 도의원 재선거 예비후보자등록은 오는 11일부터 시작되며 후보자 등록신청은 4월 10,11일 이틀간 이뤄진다.
