The signature-seeking campaign under the title of “We urge the Korean government to impose the import ban on beef from the U.S.” is so rapidly spreading among netizens through the internet portal Daum.net’s debate site, Agora, that it invites special attentions from people. A netizen with a signoff ‘Kingsman‘ started this campaign on November 4, aiming at getting one million signatures by May 4, next year.

인터넷 네티즌들이 미국산 쇠고기 수입을 막기 위한 100만 서명운동을 벌이고 있어 귀추가 주목되고 있다. 인터넷 포털사이트인 다음의 ‘아고라’에서는 ‘정부에 건의합니다. 쇠고기 수입, 지금이라도 반대해야 합니다’라는 제목의 네티즌 청원서명운동이 펼쳐지면서 그 호응도가 빠른 속도로 진행되고 있어 관심을 모으고 있다.
‘왕의 남자’라는 대화명의 네티즌이 청원한 이 서명운동은 지난달 4일 첫 발의, 내년 5월 4일까지 100만명 서명을 목표로 하고 있다.
