Bukjeju-gun plans to focus on fostering tourism-friendly environment, expecting that more people will visit Jeju for May of ‘The Month of Family’.
It is designing various kinds of events such as arranging flower pots in the four tourist spots under direct management-Manjanggul, Bijarim Forest, Hangmong Historical Site, and Jocheon manse Garden Holy Park and offering tourists nutmeg trees in order to make them keep happy memory.
Therefore, it will make brochures on presentation of tourism attractions and display them in Jeju International Airport, bus terminal and travel agencies in an effort to promote the news on events in May.
"관광객 눈을 사로 잡아라"
북군은 5월 가정의 달을 맞아 제주를 찾는 국내외 관광객이 늘어날 것으로 보고 다시 찾고 싶은 관광지 환경 조성에 주력해 나가기로 했다.
특히 북군은 만장굴과 비자림, 항몽유적지, 항일기념관 등 4개소 직영관광지에 대·소형 꽃화분을 배치하고 이곳을 찾은 관광객들에게 비자나무를 증정하는 등 관광객들이 기억에 남는 추억을 남길 수 있는 다양한 이벤트를 실시할 예정이다.
이를 위해 북군은 관내 관광지를 소개하는 팸플릿을 제작해 공항과 터미널, 여행사 등에 비치하는 등 관광지별로 5월 이벤트 소식을 알려나가기로 했다.
