Recently the number of Foreigners visiting tourist attractions located in Namjeju-gun has remarkably increased.
Analysis on conditions of collecting admission fees for Namjeju-gun tourist spots conducted by Namgun Tourist Management Office shows that last year the number of tourists who paid admission fees increased by 3.5percent to 1,791,419 from 1,735,570 in 2004.
In particular, the number of those from foreign countries almost doubled, increasing by 48.3percent to 231,540 from 156,153 in 2004.
외국인 관광객 발길 늘어
남군 관광명소를 찾는 외국인 발길이 부쩍 늘었다.
남군 관광지관리사무소가 지난 한 해 동안 관내 관광지 관람료 징수 현황을 분석한 결과 유료 관람인원은 179만 1419명으로 2004년 173만 557명 대비 3.5%가 증가 했다.
특히 외국인 관광객은 2004년도 15만 6153명보다 절반 가까운 수준인 48.3%나 불어난 23만 1549명으로 나타났다.
