The appointed committee will examine the selection of an innovative city candidate in Jeju. The decision of which candidate city the public agencies will be relocated to will be made during the 6th session on the 13th. Jeju has clearly stated that it will decide on a candidate city ahead of the period that the central government has established (by the 15th).
In regard to this issue, Jeju sent the public sector union an official document requesting to appoint 2 council members. Substitute members are needed by the 7th of December to replace members who resigned earlier from the selection committee.
At the same time, Jeju has been keeping a close watch on the work and progress of other regions’ in selecting a innovate city candidate.
정부가 정한 시한 이전에 확정
수도권 공공기관이 옮겨가는 혁신도시 후보지 선정에 대한 선정위원들의 심사를 오는 13일 제6차 회의에서 마무리 할 예정인 제주도는 정부가 정한 시한(15일) 이전인 이번 회의에서 반드시 후보지를 확정하겠다고 강조.
이와 관련, 제주도는 선정위원에서 사퇴한 위원들을 대신한 위원 2명을 7일까지 재 위촉 해 달라는 공문을 공공노조에 발송하는 한편 타지방 혁신도시 후보지 선정 작업 동향에 촉각을 곤두세우는 모습.
