Jobless People dropped

A survey shows that employment rate has increased and unemployment rate has dropped. According to figures from the Jeju National Statistical Office, the number of jobless people in May reduced to 6000, down by 1000 from the previous month, lowering unemployment rate 2.1 percent from 2.3 percent, down by 0.21 percent. During May, the number of the population who are aged 15 years or older and able to engage in labor was 421,000, up by 6000(1.4 percent) on-year. Accordingly, the number of employable Jeju citizens rose to 297,000, up by 2000 on-month.

취업자는 늘고 실업자는 줄고

고용은 늘어나고 실업률은 떨어진 것으로 나타났다.
통계청제주통계사무소에 따르면 5월중 실업자는 6000명으로 전달대비 1000명 줄었다.
이에 따른 실업률도 전달 2.3%에서 2.1%로 0.21% 낮아졌다.
5월중 노동 가능인구(15세 이상)는 42만1000명으로 전년 동월대비 6000명(1.4%) 증가했다.
이에 따른 경제활동인구는 29만7000명으로 전달보다 2000명 증가했다.
