agreement on customized education system

Cheju National University enters into an agreement on customized education system with Samsung, nation’s leading corporation.
The university announced that it would pursue academic-industrial cooperation with Samsung Everland in order to advance golf course management industry and foster sufficient experts.
University officials  also said that this agreement focuses on training experts in natural grass field management. Taking customized courses in school, students will learn practical ways which are needed by golf businesses. Therefore, the university expected that the contract would make a contribution to the employment of undergraduates and attracting new students.   

제주대-에버랜드 맞춤형 교육 협약 체결

제주대학교가 국내 굴지의 기업인 삼성그룹과 맞춤형 교육 협약을 맺는다.
제주대는 27일 총장실에서 (주)삼성에버랜드(대표 박노빈)와 골프코스 관리 산업의 발전과 전문인력 양성을 위한 산학협력 협약 체결식을 갖는다고 26일 밝혔다.
제주대 관계자는 “이번 산학협력 협약 체결로 골프장이 원하는 맞춤형 교육을 통한 잔디관리 전문가를 양성, 지역사회가 요구하는 인재를 배출 할 수 있게 됐다”며 “이를 통해 재학생들의 취업 및 우수 신입생 확보에도 도움을 줄 것”이라고 기대했다.
