Commemorativw Coin df APEC Summit to Be Issued

Advance orders for the commemorative coin of the Asia-Pacific Economic Corporation (APEC) summit will be taken until 26th of August.
The Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation (KOMSCO) said on the 19th of August that purchase orders for the 2005 APEC Summit commemorative coin will be simultaneously placed through National Agricultural Cooperative Federation bank branches and Wooribank tellers and websites throughout the nation.
The coin is only being sold through advance orders until the 26th and is made out of 99.5 percent pure silver.  The diameter of the coin is 35mm and weighs 20.7g.  With the face value priced KRW 20,000, the selling price

including a commemorative case stands at KRW 26,000.  A maximum of 100,000 pieces (90,000 for domestic sale, 10,000 for oversea sales) will be issued and the coins will be distributed on the 14th of November to those chosen through a drawing of lots from purchase orders. 
The commemorative coin is realized of pure silver with a 3 layer-glossy color design. The reverse side of the coin reproduces the natural colors of the APEC official emblem through color printing.

'APEC 기념주화' 26일까지 예약 접수

아시아ㆍ태평양경제협력체(APEC) 정상회의 기념주화에 대한 예약접수가 오는 26까지 실시된다.
한국조폐공사는 19일 ‘2005 APEC 정상회의’ 기념주화의 예약접수를 전국 농협중앙회 지점과 우리은행 점포망 창구 및 인터넷 접수를 통해 동시에 실시한다고 밝혔다.

오는 26일까지 예약판매하는 이 주화는 순은 99.5%, 직경 35mm, 중량 20.7g으로 가격은 액면가(2만원)에 케이스 포장비 등의 판매실비를 합해 2만6000원. 최대 10만장(국내 9만장, 국외 1만장)이 발행되며, 예약 접수자 중 추첨으로 당첨자를 선정, 오는 11월 14일 당첨자에게 배부한다.
한편 이번 기념주화는 순은 소재에 3단으로 광택색상을 구현하고 뒷면은 킬러프린팅 방식으로 APEC 공식 앰블럼의 천연색을 그대로 재현했다.
